Payment is accepted by PayPal, cheque (GBP £) or bank transfer. Refunds may be granted at the discretion of the ICV27 Organising Team, subject to a cancellation fee determined by expenses already incurred and thus rising as the Congress date approaches. Any refund agreed will be made promptly but may be delayed until after the Congress. ICV 27 will take place in the Huxley Building, 180 Queen's Gate, located on the western edge of the Imperial College campus. Day tour of Maritime Greenwich, including: coach transfers from Imperial College to Greenwich. The ICV27 Closing Banquet will take place beside the Thames, in the opulent surroundings of the National Liberal Club's historic Gladstone Library. Overlooking Whitehall Gardens, the Library is easy to reach from our Congress venue - c.100yds from Embankment Underground station, on a direct line from South Kensington and Gloucester Road. £85 per head.

Companion Programme


Based around the conference venue in the heart of Royal Kensington and Chelsea, the ICV 27 Companion Programme will explore the monuments, palaces, houses, gardens and hidden corners of this special corner of London. Highlights include the Royal Albert Hall - of Summer Proms fame; Kensington Palace - once home to Queen Victoria, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana, and now to Prince William, Duchess Kate and Prince Harry; Leighton House - a ‘private palace of art’ with an extraordinary Arab Hall; Hyde Park and the Serpentine; Kensington Gardens and the Albert Memorial; and lovely Holland Park with its stunning Kyoto Garden. All entry charges are covered by the companion fee. Some meals and refreshments will also be included - details and full schedule to follow shortly. Companions will also have time for independent exploration - with shopping on Knightsbridge (Harrods, of course) or Kensington High Street, culture galore at the V&A, Science Museum and Natural History Museum, and excellent bus and tube links to enjoy all London’s wider attractions.
